Lisa has directed, written and/or produced eight award-winning short films. As a Fellow in the AFI Conservatory Directing Workshop for Women, Lisa participated in a competitive program which gives selected women training, support and resources to make a short film. Her AFI short THE DEATH OF TOYS was an official selection of 39 festivals, winning Best Director, Toronto International Film and Video Awards; Best Narrative Short, Winnipeg Real to Reel Film Festival; Best Actress (Kim Rhodes), Winter Film Awards; Groundbreaking Filmmaker, HATCH Asheville.  Her most recent short, THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS, is currently on the festival circuit and has so far been an official selection of 56 festivals, winning the Kamen Award, Wheaton Film Festival; Best Student Director Short Film, Seattle Film Festival; Best Student Short Film, Sedona International Film Festival; Audience Choice Award, Blackbird Film Festival.
